Hi, I’m Sue Thibedeau, owner of Companion Dog Training. I live in Wrentham, MA with my husband, two dogs, five cats, two horses and a pet cow.

I’ve had a passion for dogs all my life and have enjoyed working with them in a variety of capacities over the years. My experience includes working as a vet tech, breeding Labs and competing them in obedience, serving as a dog club 4H leader, and raising puppies to become seeing eye dogs for the national organization Guiding Eyes for the Blind. I also spent the past 18 years as Animal Control Officer.

That’s where I saw, firsthand, the problems that arise when dogs are not properly socialized, trained and managed — and the heartache their owners experience as a result. I found that more often than not, the owners simply lacked good information. And this is why I decided to start my own business: to help people have a better relationship with their dogs.
